Research at SABRE

SABRE seeks to develop innovative approaches, procedures, technologies, and techniques that support the design, management, reconfiguration, maintenance and operation of buildings and infrastructure, their fabric and the environments they create.

SABRE is guided by the SETU mission, vision and values in its activities. This will include the increased scale and impact, primarily for Waterford City and South East region. It will also be engaged in relevant national and international to advance knowledge and ensure that the research and innovation outputs are at global standards.

SABRE will focus on interconnected key thematic areas that are contained within the realm of Architecture and the Built Environment. Many of the research and innovation challenges involve a combination of these themes and multi-disciplinary approaches.
