Teaching, Learning, Assessment & Accreditation

This theme recognises the strategic requirement of the university to integrate education and research. It cuts across SABRE’s other five themes and will ensure that the Department has tangible evidence for ‘research informed teaching’. It will also build on the ongoing projects regarding Architecture and Built Environment education and the associated teaching, learning, assessment and accreditation.

These projects include the national HCI-P3 Resilient Design and the EU CALOHEE – www.calohee.eu. The relevant international organisations include European Society for Engineering Education (SEFI) – www.sefi.be and the European Architects Alliance (EEA) – www.eaa-eu.com
